Base pay range$18.00/hr - $20.50/hr
Position SummaryThe utility is responsible for keeping inventory of, transporting, stocking, and cleaning/clearing products to ensure business and customer needs are met. In addition to responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of dishes, serve ware, equipment, etc. while individually performing other serviceable duties as assigned. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by O’Hare Joint Venture 2 location based on business needs.
EssentialFunctions
- Ensure guests satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized.
- Stocks and maintains appropriate levels of product.
- Delivers product and utilizes transfer sheets to maintain inventory integrity.
- Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains appearance of workstations and guest service areas.
- Maintains dishwashing station, compartments, sink and related areas cleaned.
- Ensures equipment is clean and in working condition; reports any issues to management.
- Performs other light maintenance and custodial tasks.
- Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude toward guests, customers, and co-workers, etc.
- Adheres to safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation.
- Ensures security of company assets.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager.
Sedentary
Lifting up to 10 pounds maximum and occasionally lifting and/or carrying small items (files, manuals, binders).
Light
Lifting 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
Medium
Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
100 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Very Heavy
- Demonstrates an understanding of basics sanitation procedures.
- Must be able to follow basic safety procedures due to exposure to hazardous chemicals.
- Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
- Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 25 lbs.
