Inpatient Unit is very unique - 1 unit, 39 beds, all specialties on this unit, 50-60% of patients have some sort of technology dependence - ages 2 weeks to 18 yrs old. We are an acute care unit that cares for patients with chronic illness. Our children have tracheostomies with chronic ventilators. We do not have drips or surgical patients, transitional patients.
