Pay Range: $18.87 - $26.66 per hour

SummaryUnder the direction of the Director of Periop Supply Chain, this individual will be the primary resource for managing the vendor implant room as well as the vendor credential system. This role supports both the Supply Chain and the surgical operating room areas. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision, and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.
Other information Required Job Qualifications- High school diploma /GED required;
Two years of Healthcare Supply Chain experience highly preferred. - Knowledge of computer applications and software programs, including MS-Office (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel), Internet Applications
- Knowledge of inventory control processes.
- Basic understanding of clinical terms and procedures.
- Ability to multitask under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Superior organizational & communicative skills with close attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Previous experience in a Surgical Supply Chain setting
- Knowledge of computer applications and software programs, including MS-Office (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel), Internet Applications, and a basic understanding of inventory management systems.
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
- Must be able to walk long distances.
- Must be comfortable within a surgical setting.
Requires sound math and inquisitive skills in order to maintain log of vendor-related inventory and value

Responsibilities- Assists with providing new vendors with access to the platform, profile setup, and direction with navigating the Operating Room
- Daily check-in of the Green Security Platform to monitor for notifications
- Maintain vigilance and ensure surgical vendors are maintaining compliance with the institution’s health policy requirements
- Round operating room areas to ensure adequate PPE is available to meet Rush OR protocol
- Acts as a liaison between the Rush Health System for Green Security- will travel between sites as needed
- Maintain updated logs of vendors and associated inventory
- Maintain inventory integrity with owned implant inventory stored within the implant room
- Escalate vendor-related issues to associated clinical, Supply Chain, and SPD leadership
- Communicate with vendor couriers for drop-offs/pick-ups
- Interacts with clinical staff and vendors in a cordial and professional manner
- Must maintain environmental cleanliness and order in the implant room
