Important setting fitThis role requires experience in outpatient rehab therapy (PT/OT/SLP) workflows. If your EMR background is primarily in non-therapy specialties (ex primary care, dermatology, dental, inpatient), this is likely not the right fit.
Why this role mattersEMR conversions can either build confidence and momentum or create friction. In this role, you will make transitions feel organized, supportive, and provider-first while building a repeatable implementation model that scales with Thrive’s growth.
Lead clinic implementations and go-lives- Own implementation planning and execution across partner clinics, including readiness, workflow alignment, training coordination, cutover, and hypercare support.
- Build a repeatable rollout playbook, templates, and clinic readiness checklists that make success predictable.
- Drive implementation governance with clear risk surfacing, escalation, and go/no-go recommendations in partnership with operations leadership and RDOs.
- Map and standardize core workflows (while allowing brand flexibility where it matters).
- Partner closely with Thrive leadership, operations, clinic leadership, front desk teams, and providers to solve adoption barriers and build durable habits.
- Support change management with strong communication, coaching, and practical training reinforcement.
- Identify workflow improvements that reduce friction, improve throughput, and support provider satisfaction.
- Partner with RCM leadership to ensure scheduling, documentation, authorizations, charge capture, billing workflows, and reporting support clean downstream outcomes.
- Serve as the internal point person for EMR process improvement and optimization roadmap.
- Collaborate with Operations, RCM, Finance, Data/Reporting, and Practice leaders to align clinic workflows with enterprise needs.
- Influence without direct authority, and earn trust across a multi-brand environment.
- Clinics feel supported and confident during conversions and go-lives.
- Front desk and provider adoption is strong within the first 30 to 60 days post go-live.
- Implementation becomes repeatable and scalable, with fewer surprises each wave.
- Workflow improvements reduce friction and improve operational consistency across brands.

If you understand how outpatient clinical care, front desk operations, and therapy billing workflows connect, and you can drive EMR rollout through strong project execution, technology fluency, and change leadership grounded in clarity and empathy, this could be a great next step.
Required- EMR implementation, conversion, or superuser experience in outpatient rehab therapy (PT/OT/SLP), preferably multi-site.
- Strong understanding of therapy front desk operations (scheduling, intake, benefits verification, authorizations, collections, day-to-day clinic flow).
- Working knowledge of therapy revenue cycle concepts and how clinic workflows impact clean billing outcomes (auth management, charge capture, claim flow, denials drivers).
- Experience leading change initiatives in a clinic setting (new systems, process changes, training rollouts).
- High EQ, strong communication, and the ability to coach and influence across personalities and roles.
- Learning agility, curiosity, and the ability to become a true internal SME quickly.
- Licensed clinician background PT, OT, SLP, PTA, or COTA.
- Outpatient therapy clinic leadership (Clinic Manager, Practice Manager, Director of Operations, lead clinician with operational ownership, or similar).
- Comfort with reporting and translating metrics into practical workflow changes.
- Regular travel is expected based on go-live schedules.
- Occasional evenings/weekends may be required during cutover and week-one stabilization.
