Overview
RN // ICU - Intensive Care Unit, on-site. 13 weeks. Night Shift 12 hours/day, 3 days/week.
Responsibilities- Deliver advanced nursing care to critically ill patients requiring constant monitoring and life-sustaining interventions in the ICU.
- Perform comprehensive assessments, manage ventilators and invasive lines, and administer high-risk medications.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and adjust individualized critical care plans.
- Rapidly recognize patient status changes, respond to emergencies, and maintain detailed clinical documentation.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and families.
- Demonstrate strong critical thinking, clinical expertise, and the ability to function effectively in high-stress situations.
- Floor coverage includes floating between ICU units (e.g., Burn ICU, CCU, Medical ICU, SICU, Neuro ICU). May be asked to float to MS units if needed.
- First week orientation and precepting shift will be on day shift.
- Years of experience REQ: 2 years of recent acute care experience in ICU.
- Certifications REQ: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30); 3x12s, 7a-7:30p noted in original description. No block scheduling.
Weekend Requirement:
Every other weekend / 2 weekends per month. RTO restrictions apply as stated (5 days max with no more than 2 consecutive; no holiday RTO; no RTO the day prior or after a holiday; no RTO on weekends).
