Neurology Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) Opportunity – St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital | Prime Healthcare

Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive assessments, neurological examinations, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Manage acute and chronic neurological conditions under established clinical protocols.
- Provide inpatient consultations and assist with follow-up care and discharges.
- Conduct outpatient visits, manage follow-ups, and coordinate ongoing care.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests (EEGs, imaging, labs) as appropriate.
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive measures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Licensed NP or PA in the state of Illinois
- Current Illinois RN and APRN license or Physician Assistant license.
- National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA).
- Neurology experience preferred (but willing to train motivated candidates with strong internal medicine or critical care background).
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
