Overview
RN // ICU - Intensive Care Unit. All on-site. 13 weeks. Day Shift 12 hours/day, 3 days/week. Start: 06/08/2025.
Responsibilities- Provide advanced, high-acuity nursing care to critically ill patients requiring continuous monitoring and life-support interventions in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
- Perform comprehensive assessments, continuously monitor vital signs and responses to treatment, and administer complex medications and therapies.
- Manage specialized equipment (e.g., ventilators, cardiac monitors) and adjust care plans in collaboration with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the multidisciplinary team.
- Educate and support patients and families during stressful critical-care situations; maintain accurate documentation and uphold strict safety and infection-control standards.
- Demonstrate strong critical thinking, technical skills, and compassionate communication to ensure optimal outcomes in a demanding environment.
- Float between ICU units as needed (Burn ICU, CCU, Medical ICU, SICU, Neuro ICU); may be asked to float to MS units for staffing support.
- Orientation and precepting shift will occur during the first week on day shift.
- Shift: 3x12-hour shifts (1a-11:30p) varying as 3x12s; no block scheduling.

- Weekend Requirement:
Every other weekend (2 weekends per month). - RTO: 5 days max with restrictions (no more than 2 consecutive days, no RTO on holidays or on the day before/after a holiday, and no RTO on weekends).

Local candidates within 75 miles preferred.
- Experience:
2 years of recent acute care experience in ICU required. - Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS. - Locals accepted:
Yes — locals preferred; must live within 75 miles of the facility. - Pending License:
