$3,000 SIGN ON BONUS

• Develop patient treatment plans and conducts continued stay review based on research, clinical experience, and patients  histories — uses assessment programs on computer.
• Provide patient intakes (biopsychosocial assessment), treatment planning, case coordination, staffing, aftercare planning and discharge with individual and group therapy for a full spectrum of referral sources.
• Provide direct clinical service to a full caseload, achieving a minimum of 20 billable hours weekly.
• Intervene as an advocate for patients or patients to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations.
• Counsel family members to assist them in understanding, dealing with, and supporting patients (written authorization by patient must be obtained — refer to Federal Confidentiality Regulations for substance abuse treatment).
• Maintain at least 50% of work time in face-to-face counseling, contacts.

• Pay Rate: $42,000 - $47,500; based on experience and certifications

  Experience:
  
  High School Diploma/ GED required; Experience in/with substance use, detox programs, medication-assisted treatment, behavioral healthcare and/or community relations encouraged to apply

• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: IAODAPCA Certified Alcohol and Other Drugs Counselor (CADC)
  required, or able to obtain within allotted time of hire date.
