Cardiothoracic Surgery PA Locums in Illinois - 3-4 Weeks per Month

Hospital-based CTS PA opportunity in Illinois with weekday hours, strong support, and potential night/weekend call.

Highlights

• 3-4 weeks/month;
  Monday to Friday
• Long-term assignment; consistent hours
• Credentialing in ~90 days

Practice Setting

• Inpatient only; no clinic responsibilities
• Large hospital system with EPIC EMR
• Team includes 5 APPs, RN, and CV supervisor

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM
• Weeknight and weekend call possible (not guaranteed)
• Credentialing at 2 locations (Urbana and Normal)

Cases and Procedures

• First assist: CABG, AVR, MVR, ECMO
• Pre- and post-op management and rounding
• EVH preferred but not required

Requirements

• Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C)
• Active Illinois license required
• ACLS certification
• Clean credentialing history preferred

Travel Accommodations

• Flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage covered
• Driving-distance candidates preferred when possible
