The salary range for this position is $38.06 - $55.19 (Hourly Rate). Placement within the salary range is dependent on several factors such as relevant work experience and internal equity. For positions represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range is guided by the rules outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.

Radiographer-Interventional reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
The Radiographer-Interventional provides imaging services to assist in diagnosis or treatment of inpatients and or outpatients. This role performs radiographic and related procedures to demonstrate vascular structures for interpretation and/or therapeutic interventional by or at the request of a licensed practitioner. The Radiographer-Interventional will exercise professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. This individual provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient’s conditions essential for successful completion of the procedures.
Services are provided in accordance with industry standards, department protocols, and hospital policies and procedures.
- Performs vascular interventional, neuro interventional and spine interventional imaging procedures
- Evaluates the request for radiographic service and assesses the patient to determine the appropriate procedure protocol and method of application.
- Corroborate patient’s clinical history with procedure, assuring information is documented and available for use by a licensed practitioner.
- Prepare patient for procedures; providing instructions to obtain desired results, gain cooperation, and minimize anxiety.
- Operate imaging equipment and accessories.
- Select appropriate program for desired protocol.
- Position patient’s to best demonstrate anatomic area of interest, respecting patient ability and comfort.
- Appropriately employs imaging systems, accessory devices, and patient positioning techniques to generate interventional imaging images.
- Cares for the patient throughout the procedure according to department and hospital standards of nursing care, age‑specific sensitivities, and “patients' first” guidelines. Participate in lifting and transporting patients to and from…
