Position:
Onsite Health Technician in Medcor's employer‑based occupational health clinic in Chicago, IL. This role is an as‑needed PRN position with no guaranteed hours.

• Sunday: 7:00 am – 1:00 am
• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 6:00 am – 1:00 am
• Wednesday: 6:00 am – 2:00 am
• Saturday: 3:00 pm – 1:00 am

$25.00–$28.00 per hour.

• Collaborate with medical and operational leadership, local medical providers, client staff, and key contacts within the client’s corporate structure.
• Provide patient care and ongoing worker’s compensation case management.
• Facilitate Return to Work (RTW) programs and monitor treatment plans.
• Work closely with outside medical providers.

• Participate in daily operations at Medcor’s on‑site clinic.
• Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s client and employees.
• Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses per Medcor’s Evidence‑Based Medicine protocols, known as the Medcor Care Protocols (MCPs).
• Build and maintain internal team relationships.
• Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts.
• Conduct pre‑employment and post‑offer screenings.
• Document care with EMR and other tools.
• Case management.
• Medical charting.

• Love what you do.
• Have valid licensure for the position you are applying to.
• Have current CPR/BLS.
• Have strong computer and other technology skills (cell phones, texting, fax machines, etc.) and familiarity with EMR software.
• Be strong enough to lift a 50 lb emergency response bag.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Have a positive and outgoing personality.
• Be willing to go above and beyond.
• Be passionate about people and give them the best care possible.
• Be able to have fun.

• Comfortable working in a worksite clinic environment.
• Have relevant occupational health experience.
• Have experience in emergency medicine or critical care.
