The University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria (UICOMP) seeks a doctoral‑level child and adolescent clinical psychologist to വര് join the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine. DIV full‑time academic position offers clinical practice, supervision, teaching, research support, and opportunities for leadership, program development, and administrative advancement.
Duties & Responsibilities- Provide direct outpatient clinical care to patients and families
- Assist in the development and launch of a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship training program
- Supervise postdoctoral fellows, child psychiatry fellows, general psychiatry residents, and medical students
- Coordinate courses and deliver classroom teaching
- Mentor and support scholarly activity
- Assist in the annual recruitment of new fellows and residents
- pohodie participate in administrative advancement for those with organizational acumen and interest
- Perform related duties and special projects as assigned
- PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology from an APA‑approved program
- Licensed or license‑eligible in Illinois within 6 months of appointment
- Supervised training and experience in psychotherapy, assessment, and research with children and adolescents
- Experience in teaching and administration of educational programs
