Assistant Director of Nursing – Uptown Chicago

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our skilled nursing facility located in the vibrant Edgewater neighborhood of Chicago. This leadership position works closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the nursing department.

• Support, mentor, and develop nursing staff to achieve excellence in resident care.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility policies and procedures.

• Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of nursing team members.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address resident needs and improve outcomes.

• Monitor quality assurance programs and implement performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in Illinois (required).

• Proven nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.

• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and clinical best practices.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Commitment to resident-centered care and team collaboration.
