Description
The Certified Surgical Tech will function under the direct supervision to service patients in the Endoscopy Lab. and provide direct and indirect technical assistance to the physician; performs a variety of duties to assist the team in care of patients during GI lab procedures.
Opportunity is for Part-time, 8 hour day shift with on-call and weekends
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Collaborates with other members of the health care team to resolve patient care problems and enhance care delivery.
- Assists in the preparation for GI cases assuring that supplies, equipment, and instruments are available.
- Assists the team in the transport, transfer, and positioning of patients in the procedure rooms.
- Assists with the maintenance, care, and cleaning of equipment and work environment.
- Assists with the collection of specimens per policy
- Inspects scopes for damage and proper function.

- CPR Card required
- A minimum of 1 year clinical experience preferred
