We are looking for a Clinical Supervisor to join our new Center for Family Engagement and Well‑Being Program. Starting salary is $70,000/yr, with room for negotiation based on experience, degree and licensure.

Schedule:

In‑office position. Weekdays, 9 a.m.–5 p.m., on call for escalated clinical needs. Additional on‑call hours support coverage on Monday and Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 9 a.m. Flexibility is essential. An $200 weekend on‑call bonus is paid for any weekend the employee is scheduled to be on call.

The person in this role must hold an LPC, LCSW, LCPC or LMFT licensure.

Summary

The Clinical Supervisor makes a meaningful difference in the lives of families served by NYAP. This position is responsible for the management, quality, and administration of the clinical programming, including clinical leadership and direct supervision for assigned staff. The Clinical Supervisor serves as a member of the Center for Family Engagement and Well‑Being Program leadership team, ensuring sound clinical practices in programming according to the NYAP mission, vision, and values.

Responsibilities
  • Align all work with NYAP mission, values, and philosophies
  • Screen referrals upon admission, assign cases, and ensure timely documentation
  • Develop and implement training plans for treatment and service team members
  • Attend team meetings and provide clinical consultation and feedback to the treatment team to assure high‑quality services
  • Advocate on behalf of clients with schools, community agencies, and other providers
  • Provide on‑call services to respond to after‑hour emergencies and crises based on program needs
  • Provide direct supervision: weekly group or individual supervision; review new referrals for immediate treatment needs and safety concerns; review daily logs; evaluate direct service staff; participate in quality assurance activities
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments upon intake when not already completed
  • Maintain communication with referral partners and ERC staff
  • Submit required program and tracking data; provide accurate billing documentation
  • Collaborate with ERC Leadership and IL FC Leadership to identify potential longer‑term placement options
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in social services or related human service field
  • At least 3 years of experience in human services with supervisory experience
  • Valid LPC, LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT licensure
  • Capacity to work respectfully with persons from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, ethnic, religious, and racial backgrounds
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, automotive insurance, and good driving record
  • Proficient use of computers, smartphones, tablets, printers, fax machines, photocopiers, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
