General Function

Responsible for driving new business development and providing consultative solutions to clients within the healthcare sector. This role requires proactive self‑sourcing of opportunities, cultivating strategic relationships through external networking, and partnering with key healthcare industry stakeholders to deliver innovative, data‑driven market strategies that accelerate growth.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues and ensuring that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Articulate Big Data Healthcare's value proposition to internal and external clients to influence the outcome within the sales process.
  • Understand healthcare payment and commerce solutions/processes and possess knowledge of all strategic Big Data Healthcare and larger Fifth Third Bank TM solutions and their benefits to clients.
  • Manage internal relationships and centers of influence to build trust and networks effectively.
  • Represent Big Data Healthcare at trade shows, networking events and industry‑relevant conferences.
  • Analyze competitors' capabilities and gaps and position Big Data Healthcare’s services against them.
  • Identify, qualify and source prospective clients through direct calling and referral sources in both phone and face‑to‑face meetings.
  • Devise and execute a plan to exceed sales goals.
  • Develop a sales pipeline for new opportunities and appropriately manage those to a win/loss decision.
  • Manage pipeline using the iris tool.
  • Communicate implementation timelines to align with client expectations.
  • Ensure proper account documentation and requisite agreement execution.
  • Report recurring or serious product issues to management.
  • Understand, appreciate, and promote the history of Big Data Healthcare and Fifth Third Bank, its financial position, operating model and commitment to positive client experience.
  • Comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Minimum Knowledge,

Skills And Abilities

Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience working in a healthcare payments/revenue cycle sales environment, at least 5 years of experience.
  • Consistently exceeding performance goals.
  • Strong desire to continually improve oneself.
  • Strong client interaction skills and ability to influence the outcome of a sales process.
  • Aptitude for powerful presentations and negotiation with internal and external clients.
  • Proven product and sales knowledge to mentor new team members.
  • Knowledge of a wide array of healthcare payment, treasury management, and depository products.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Basic proficiency in PC software (MS Office).
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Ability to evaluate client needs.
  • Basic understanding of financial statement analysis.
Working Conditions
  • Normal office environment with little exposure to dust, noise, temperature variations, and the like.
  • Extended time at desk and/or viewing computer screen.

Salary:
Total Base Pay Range USD 94,500 – 203,200 annually
