The concierge coordinator is responsible for providing outstanding customer service to patients and visitors of the hospital. This includes connecting patients to resources, scheduling appointments, and providing patients comfort, whether that’s an extra blanket or a listening ear. These duties are performed in a highly confidential manner, following the mission, values, and behaviors of Insight Hospital and Medical Center. Employees are expected to provide high-quality care, service, and kindness toward all patients, staff, physicians, volunteers, and guests.

• Schedule patient appointments with primary care and specialist physicians
• Connect patients with resources they need (Medicaid, food stamps, etc.)
• Greet and welcome patients with a smile and ensure patient satisfaction is at 99%
• Comfort patients by anticipating anxieties and answering questions
• Record and collect patient information for follow-up appointments
• Protect patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information, HIPAA compliance
• Extend excellent patient care to ensure comfort and satisfaction
• Shift is 11:00 a.m.
  
  - 7:00 p.m., with alternating weekends
• Full‑time position

• High School Diploma required
• Good oral and written communication skills required
• Ability to read work orders and/or receive verbal instructions required
• SMILE
• Excellent customer service skills
