Candidate must have a positive attitude with a good bedside manner, sound judgement, basic nursing skills and knowledge of infection control; be a team player; be able to multitask and work under pressure; possess understanding of caring for residents with dementia.

• All candidates will be required to pass a criminal background check, drug screen and physical exam.
• Have satisfactorily completed an Illinois-approved CNA training program and passed the written competency test.
• Meet all State requirements as stipulated in the Health Care Background Check Act Registry to work as an Illinois CNA in a long-term care facility.
• Must have current CPR certification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have basic computer knowledge and be able to operate equipment, as needed, in a safe manner.
• High level of professionalism and customer service.
