About the RoleAs a Residential Therapist, you will provide individual, group, and family therapy to young people ages 6‑21 living in the residential program at 4833 N Francisco Ave, Chicago, IL. You will help them build coping skills, strengthen family connections, and move toward recovery.
Responsibilities- Provide individual, group, and family therapy using trauma‑informed and strengths‑based approaches.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team and supervisor.
- Engage families and caregivers in the healing process and communicate progress toward goals.
- Participate in multidisciplinary staff sessions, clinical reviews, and DCFS or court meetings as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with Medicaid and agency standards.
- Provide on‑call support on a rotating schedule and adapt to the needs of the program.
- Master’s degree in Social Work or a related Human Services field (required).
- Valid Illinois driver’s license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation (required).
- Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) (preferred).
- Experience working with youth in residential or therapeutic settings (preferred).
Full‑time, on‑site role at 4833 N Francisco Ave, Chicago, IL. Flexible schedule based on program needs; includes rotating on‑call responsibilities. Requires travel for home visits, court, or community meetings within the Chicago area, as well as the physical ability to kneel and return to standing without assistance as part of crisis intervention.
