Your Role

As a Patient Access Specialist at Near North Health, you’ll be the first welcoming face for our patients, playing a vital role in creating an exceptional care experience. You’ll provide outstanding customer service, seamlessly manage patient registration and scheduling, and act as a guide to help patients navigate our health centers. From ensuring accurate records to assisting patients with financial resources, your proactive and compassionate approach will help eliminate barriers to care.

By collaborating with the Patient Care Team and embracing innovation, you’ll directly contribute to improving community health and fostering a positive, inclusive environment for all.

Qualifications
  • Education Requirements:

    High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience:

    Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in healthcare, hospitality, or a related field. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic understanding of medical terminology and healthcare practices is desirable. Proficiency in office software and electronic health records systems.

Compensation

Compensation is determined based on each candidate’s experience, skills, and education, within the established range for the role. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements will typically start at the entry level of the range, with additional qualifications reflected in the final compensation package.
