Pay Range: $34.89 - $56.78 per hour
The Manager of Social Work Services is a key member of the Social Work and Community Health department. The position is responsible for program development, operational oversight of clinical social work services, sustainability of clinical programs, including seeking additional revenue streams, and managing grant deliverables. The Manager has operational oversight of the AIMS Model, the Resource Centers, Chronic Care Management programming, the Collaborative Care model (depression screenings) and outpatient psychotherapy services.
This position also participates in the provision of clinical social work services. The Manager represents Social Work and Community Health social work in meetings and presentations, both internally and externally, and exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values, acting in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.
- Build and manage innovative programming
- Seek additional revenue streams to cover care management and psychotherapy, to sustain and expand programs.
- Manage and supervise the Clinical Social Workers on the Social Work Services team.
- Manage clinical staff in the provision of the necessary social work services to help clients and families achieve their care goals.
- Maintain relationships with referring Rush clinics through consistent and timely communication.
- Manage the Anne Byron Waud Patient and Family Resource Center and the Tower Resource Center.
- Provide mental health counseling or on-demand social work services to own clients or referrals from Rush practices.
- Carry out comprehensive social work assessments by phone or in-person to develop a plan of care for the client.
- Document all client interactions in Epic and maintain HIPAA compliant record for psychotherapy clients.
- Promote Rush University Medical Center clinical services by referring clients to relevant Rush clinics.
- Represent Social Work and Community Health at meetings, conferences or other public engagements on an as-needed basis.
- Master’s Degree in Social Work
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Illinois
- Computer literate, with high-level organizational and administrative skills.
