Our local Chicago home health agency has helped 1000's of patients over the last 22 years and is looking for an experienced Director of Nursing to join our small team of dedicated individuals. We take a lot of pride in treating both our patients and employees with respect and care. This pivotal role includes both managing the clinical aspects of the agency and also managing other agency functions so that the agency operates effectively and efficiently on a day-to-day basis.

The main priority is to ensure that the patients receive the best plan of care that will lead to the best patient outcome. Other high priorities include making sure nurses are fully supported, clinical documentation meets/exceeds Medicare Guidelines/Procedures and keeping up with any changes in the home health industry that may impact the agency and managing daily internal administrative operations.

Education/

Qualifications:

Registered Nurse currently licensed in the state of Illinois.

Graduate from an NLN accredited School of Nursing

Bachelor’s degree in nursing

Three years of experience in home health care or related community nursing organization within the recent five-year period.

Knowledge of all Federal and State regulations governing home health care.

Comprehensive knowledge of the provision of home health care to patients and their families.
