What You Need to KnowPosition: Field Supervisor
- Non-Clinical
Position Summary: The field Supervisor is responsible for the effective supervision of Care Partners. This position monitors the activity of Care Partners to ensure that services are being provided to clients in accordance with individualized service plans and state regulations.
What does a Field Supervisor do?
- Complete required quality in-home compliance visits
- Requires travel to multiple clients' homes nearly every day or week.
- Field Supervisor will provide training to branch caregivers as needed.
- Lead New Hire Caregiver Orientation and training.
- Initial orientation on the caregiver's first day of employment with us.
- Complete new client opening paperwork.
- Meet with new clients.
- Identify their needs via services.
- Determine preferred visit cadence (days of week, times of day).
- Field-based role. Local travel is up to 80-90%. Requires a dependable vehicle, car insurance, and a valid driver's license.
What we look for in a qualified candidate
- 2 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Completed 2 years of full-time study at an accredited college or university.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions.
- Sensitivity to the needs of the aged and disabled and conscientious service to clients' needs.
- Knowledge of all state requirements under the Primary Home Care Program.
- Ability to handle crisis situations and problem-solve interventions.
- Ability to process time-sensitive material promptly.
