- Serves as Chief of the Office of Latino Services, functioning as a principal policy-formulating administrator for Latino issues for the Department.
- Serves as full line supervisor of subordinate staff.
- Provides technical assistance to all administrative Department staff relative to Latino Services and appropriate implementation.
- Develops and implements Department administrative procedures relative to policies/procedures and the delivery of appropriate services to Latino and bilingual clients.
- Serves as lead in identifying the variables necessary for a successful foster/adoptive plan in the Latino Community.
- Utilizes Spanish speaking and writing skills in translating and communicating with individuals and agencies.
- Provides administrative oversight in the recruitment and hiring of employees with specialized skills for the agency.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
