Client Financial Analyst

Havas is seeking a Client Financial Analyst to join our Chicago team. This entry-level role will support financial operations across client accounts, partnering closely with finance, account management, and project teams to ensure accurate financial tracking, reporting, and analysis.

• Support financial tracking and reporting across client accounts and projects
• Assist with revenue forecasting, budgeting, and client profitability analysis
• Monitor project budgets and ensure alignment with approved client estimates
• Prepare monthly financial reports and reconciliations for internal teams
• Partner with account and project management teams to review financial performance
• Manage client billing processes; ensuring all client invoices are prepared accurately and on a timely basis as well as resolving any discrepancies.
• Track revenue recognition and ensure financial data is accurately maintained in internal systems
• Analyze financial data and provide insights on account health, margins, and utilization
• Support finance leadership with ad-hoc reporting and analysis

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field
• 0–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, consulting, or agency operations (internships acceptable)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis preferred)
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Interest in the advertising, media, or marketing industry

• Internship or coursework in financial analysis, accounting, or business analytics
• Exposure to project-based financial environments (consulting, marketing agencies, etc.)
• Experience with financial systems or reporting tools
