* Responsible for scheduling, performance evaluations, and maintaining a high degree of quality and productivity of direct reports.
* Establish strong working relationships with key business partners (Treasury Management, Commercial Banking, Deposit Ops, AML, Internal Audit, and Risk & Governance)
* Ensure strong quality and productivity of the ACH processing team.
* Responsible for all training and cross training to ensure no key people risk.
* May manage special projects requiring some coordination and/or contribute to project teams.
* Develop and maintain policies, procedures and training materials to maximize efficiency and customer service within the team.
* Participate in long term and strategic planning.
* Maintain awareness of industry leading practices and work to incorporate as applicable.
* Responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of contingency plans.
* Participate in Audit and Compliance review activities.
* Identify and assist in the implementation of process improvements to increase STP rates and error reduction while maintaining a strong understanding of risk and operational controls.
* Comply with all policies, procedures, and banking regulations applicable.
* Additional duties as assigned.
* ACH/Payment Systems:
Deep understanding of ACH processing, and electronic payment platforms.
* Nacha:
Knowledge of Nacha Operating Rules and regulations.
* Compliance:
Familiarity with banking laws, fraud prevention, and regulatory requirements.
* Software:
Proficiency in financial software, Microsoft Office, and potentially project tools like Jira.
* Accounting:
Basic accounting principles, financial transactions, and reconciliation skills.
* Attention to Detail:
Crucial for accurate financial data handling.
* Problem-Solving:
Ability to resolve complex payment issues and identify process improvements.
* Communication:
Excellent written and verbal skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
* Organization & Planning:
For managing workflows and projects.
* Critical Thinking & Analysis:
For evaluating processes and data.
* Knowledge:
Possess 7+ years of ACH/Payments experience, with AAP, APRP, and/or CTP highly desirable. Have a BA/BS degree
