Compliance at Ninja Trader

Ninja Trader's Compliance team is seeking an undergraduate intern for Summer 2026.

In this role, you will help support the firm's regulatory and supervisory framework by contributing to monitoring, documentation, and policy initiatives that protect our customers and the integrity of our futures commission merchant ("FCM") business. You will partner with Compliance, AML, Marketing, and other internal teams to help ensure Ninja Trader's platform, communications, and brokerage services operate in alignment with applicable regulatory requirements and internal standards.

The Compliance Intern will support regulatory activities subject to oversight by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), National Futures Association (NFA), and Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), including compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements. The intern will perform administrative, analytical, and research‑oriented assignments under the guidance of experienced compliance professionals. The role is ideal for students pursuing careers in financial regulation, compliance, law, financial crime prevention, or risk management.

This internship is based at our Chicago headquarters.

• Hands‑on compliance experience at a regulated fintech and brokerage firm
• Exposure to regulatory frameworks governing derivatives and retail futures trading
• Mentorship and structured feedback from experienced compliance professionals
• Ownership of meaningful projects with measurable impact on risk mitigation and supervisory processes
• Hands‑on exposure to using AI to enhance monitoring, research, and documentation workflows
• Networking opportunities within fintech

• Support day‑to‑day compliance advisory activities, AML surveillance, and general case management
• Assist with review and documentation of marketing materials (e.g., social media posts, influencer content, videos) to ensure regulatory alignment
• Conduct targeted regulatory research and prepare concise summaries for Compliance and business stakeholders
• Support the compilation of information for Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews
