Head of Capital Markets

Legacy Property Trust is seeking a Head of Capital Markets to lead national capital raising for its newly launched REIT platform.

Legacy Property Trust ("The Retirement REIT") is a private real estate investment platform designed to help long-time property owners transition appreciated real estate into a diversified institutional vehicle through a §721 contribution structure.

The REIT is advised by NAI Legacy, a commercial real estate investment and advisory firm active in the tax-efficient real estate investment space since 2019, including Delaware Statutory Trust (DST) offerings and private real estate investments. The broader NAI Legacy platform has grown to approximately $450M of commercial real estate assets across its investment, management, and affiliated programs.

NAI Legacy operates within the NAI Global network, one of the world’s largest commercial real estate advisory organizations, with 325+ offices and more than 5,800 professionals across 55+ countries.

We are expanding our REIT leadership team and seeking a senior capital markets leader to help scale the platform nationally.

The Role:

The Head of Capital Markets will lead equity capital raising across RIA, Family Office, and Broker-Dealer channels, working closely with senior leadership to build distribution partnerships and expand the firm’s advisor network.

This is a senior leadership role with meaningful influence over capital markets strategy, investor relationships, and the long-term growth of the platform. This role may be based in any major U.S. financial market, operating from the candidate’s home market with regular travel for advisor meetings, conferences, and investor events.

Responsibilities:

• Lead national capital formation efforts for the REIT platform

• Develop and manage relationships with Registered Investment Advisors, Family Offices, and Broker-Dealer platforms

• Expand the firm’s advisor distribution network and strategic partnerships

• Conduct advisor meetings, due diligence presentations, and investor events

• Secure new platform approvals and distribution relationships

• Represent the firm at industry conferences and investor forums

Qualifications:

• years of experience raising capital for alternative investment platforms

• Experience working with RIA, Family Office, or Broker-Dealer distribution channels

• Strong understanding of private real estate or alternative investments

• Established advisor relationships strongly preferred

• Series 7 and Serieslicenses required (or ability to obtain)

Compensation includes a competitive base salary plus performance-based upside tied to capital formation and platform growth. Total compensation will be commensurate with experience and capital raising track record.
