A leading AmLaw 50 law firm is seeking a Debt Finance Associate (2-6 years) to join its growing Chicago finance practice
. The group is known for advising high-growth companies, venture-backed businesses, and private equity sponsors on sophisticated financing transactions, making it an excellent platform for attorneys who want exposure to innovative clients and fast-moving deals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent borrowers, sponsors, and lenders in complex financing transactions
  • Draft and negotiate credit agreements and related loan documentation
  • Advise on acquisition financings, growth financings, venture debt transactions, and recapitalizations
  • Work closely with corporate deal teams representing technology and high-growth companies
Qualifications
  • 1-6 years of experience in debt finance, leveraged finance, or related financing transactions
  • Experience representing private equity sponsors, lenders, or emerging growth companies preferred
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Excellent academic credentials and large law firm experience preferred
Compensation & Structure
  • Salary range: $235,000 - $420,000, depending on class year and experience
  • Relocation offered for top candidates
