A fast‑growing investment firm with more than $8 billion in AUM is seeking an FP&A Manager to help shape the firm’s financial planning capabilities as the business expands. The organization is actively acquiring and integrating advisory practices as part of its succession‑focused model, and is strengthening its finance function to support continued growth, operational scale, and long‑term value creation.
Responsibilities- Design and implement the firm’s FP&A infrastructure, including annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long‑range planning
- Build and maintain financial models to support growth initiatives, acquisitions, and integration efforts
- Develop KPI frameworks, dashboards, and reporting cadences to track performance across the platform
- Evaluate and implement FP&A tools to streamline and automate reporting
- Continuously enhance forecasting accuracy and financial insight as the business scales
- Partner with leaders across operations, M&A, advisory, and corporate functions to support decision‑making
- Analyze performance drivers at both the platform and firm level, translating data into actionable insights
- Support strategic initiatives such as fee analysis, cost optimization, capacity planning, and organic growth efforts
- Serve as a thought partner to business leaders on the financial implications of strategic decisions
- Collaborate with the CFO on financial strategy, capital planning, and board/investor reporting
- Drive improvements in finance processes, including planning timelines, reporting automation, and systems enhancements
- Support financial planning and reporting for newly acquired firms
- Help scale finance processes and controls appropriate for a growing, PE‑backed organization
- 5–8+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or a related field
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills; strong Excel proficiency required
- Experience with FP&A tools or system implementation a plus
- Proven ability to build processes and operate effectively in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment
- Strong business acumen and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts for non‑finance stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA/CFA a plus
