Corporate Controller

A private equity–backed organization in a dynamic, multi-entity environment is seeking a hands‑on Corporate Controller / CAO to partner closely with the CFO and executive leadership team.

This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for building scalable accounting infrastructure, strengthening internal controls, and supporting ongoing growth initiatives, including M&A activity.

• Lead all financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual) including audit oversight
• Own and improve month‑end close processes and general ledger integrity
• Oversee AP, billing, collections, and core accounting operations
• Strengthen and formalize SOPs and internal controls
• Provide GAAP technical accounting guidance across entities
• Support capital projects and perform financial scenario modeling
• Participate in ERP/system evaluation and implementation initiatives
• Assist with M&A due diligence and post‑acquisition integrations

• CPA strongly preferred
• 10+ years progressive accounting experience
• Strong GAAP and internal controls background
• Experience in PE‑backed or high‑growth environments preferred
• Exposure to M&A activity and ERP implementations a plus
• Highly hands‑on leader comfortable building structure and processes

This role is majority on‑site initially, transitioning toward hybrid as infrastructure stabilizes.
