Job Description & How to Apply Below
We are a rapidly scaling Registered Investment Advisor executing an aggressive organic and acquisition-driven growth strategy. As we continue to expand nationally, we are building a finance function that does more than report results. We are creating a true strategic partner to the business.
This FP&A Manager role is designed for a high-performing Senior FP&A Analyst ready for promotion, or an early-stage Manager who wants more ownership. You will help build the FP&A infrastructure from the ground up while partnering directly with the CFO and executive team.
If you want visibility, impact, and a path toward Director-level leadership, this is that move.
Responsibilities- Design and implement the company’s FP&A infrastructure, including annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range planning
- Build and maintain robust financial models supporting growth initiatives, acquisitions, and integration efforts
- Establish KPI frameworks, dashboards, and reporting cadence across the platform
- Evaluate and help implement FP&A tools to streamline and automate reporting
- Continuously improve forecasting accuracy and elevate financial insight as the business scales
- Partner with leaders across operations, M&A, advisory, and corporate functions to support decision-making and value creation initiatives
- Analyze revenue drivers, advisor productivity, margins, and cost structure at both the platform and firm level
- Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders
- Support strategic initiatives, including fee analysis, cost optimization, capacity planning, and organic growth efforts
- Act as a thought partner on the financial implications of key business decisions
- Work closely with the CFO on financial strategy, capital planning, and board or investor reporting
- Drive process improvements across planning timelines, reporting automation, and systems enhancements
- Support financial planning and reporting integration of acquired firms
- Help scale finance processes and controls appropriate for a growing, PE-backed organization
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field required
- MBA is helpful but not required; CPA or CFA is a plus
- 5–8 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or related fields
- Early career experience may include 2 years in a Big 4 or participation in a Finance Development or rotational program
- Currently an FP&A Analyst, Senior FP&A Analyst, or FP&A Manager with demonstrated progression
- Experience in a high-growth, PE-backed, services, or roll-up environment strongly preferred
- Advanced financial modeling skills and strong Excel capabilities required
- Experience evaluating or implementing FP&A tools is a plus
- Ability to build processes in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment
- Strong business acumen and executive presence
