Global Record to Report Senior Manager

Korn Ferry has partnered with a dynamic, global consumer focused company on a newly created position. The Global Record to Report Senior Manager will serve as the business process owner for the Finance workstream in a system implementation. This role will report to the Director, Finance Transformation and will partner with stakeholders in finance, accounting and IT to design, build, test, and deploy the future-state R2R processes that enable Finance Transformation.

Responsibilities:

• Define, design, and validate end-to-end R2R processes within SAP, including inventory accounting. This role will have a dotted reporting line to the Group Controllership organization and partner closely with all team members.
• Lead solution design for the full scope of Record to Report processes. Partner with system integrators to translate business requirements into SAP functionality. Scope includes the full R2R cycle: chart of accounts, journal entries, allocations, intercompany, asset & lease accounting, inventory accounting, statutory and management reporting, and automation of R2R processes.
• Ensure all R2R processes meet internal control standards, SOX compliance, and audit requirements
• Lead R2R-related data mapping, cleanup, and validation efforts to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Drive the R2R workstream through all phases of implementation: design, build, testing, data migration, cutover, etc.
• Develop and deliver training to finance users
• Serve as a visible change leader, collaborating and partnering with stakeholders across functions and regions
• Identify and implement opportunities to simplify, standardize, and enhance R2R processes for ongoing improvement.

Requirements

• This role requires an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
• Minimum of 8 years of experience with a focus on RTR processes
• Experience with SAP
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP/IFRS), internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Deep knowledge of finance transformation principles, best practices, and industry trends
• Must thrive in complex, international environment and have deep expertise in finance, accounting operations, and system-enabled transformation.
• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, able to anticipate challenges and develop proactive solutions.
