Senior TBM Planning Analyst

We are hiring a Senior TBM (Technology Business Management) Planning Analyst to join our Enterprise Strategy and Technology Planning function. This role serves as the primary finance partner to Infrastructure and Data & Analytics leadership, overseeing approximately $90M in annual spend. The Senior TBM Planning Analyst delivers forward‑looking financial insight across budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, expense management, workforce planning, and investment governance to enable proactive, data‑driven decisions.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in financial planning and analysis, IT cost structures, and technology business management, combined with strong analytical capabilities and the ability to partner across technical and non‑technical stakeholder groups.

In This Role, You’ll Get To:
  • Lead annual budget development and monthly/quarterly rolling forecasts for Infrastructure and Data & Analytics portfolios
  • Build multi‑year (3–5 year) outlooks and scenario models to support long‑range technology planning
  • Develop baseline and incremental budgets; update forecasts based on real‑time spending trends
  • Manage and track spend across infrastructure, cloud, and data platforms, ensuring accurate coding, accruals, and contract financial alignment
  • Deliver monthly variance analysis with forward‑looking commentary and actionable recommendations
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of technology executive dashboards and financial performance metrics
  • Partner with Cloud Fin Ops, the TBM platform team, technology leadership, procurement, supplier financial governance, AP, and corporate FP&A to ensure financial alignment across IT
  • Support workforce planning, labor capitalization tracking, and business case / post‑close analysis for technology investments
  • Surface financial risks and opportunities early, enabling leaders to make confident, decision‑ready choices
  • Drive financial discipline through implementation of best‑in‑class processes, governance standards, and standardized planning templates
We Are Looking for Someone with the Following

Competencies:
  • Financial Planning & Analysis – Deep expertise in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling with the ability to synthesize complex datasets into actionable insights
  • TBM & Financial Platforms – Experience with Apptio/TBM frameworks and tools, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.), and reporting/visualization tools
  • Business Partnership & Influence – Ability to confidently engage, influence, and present financial insights to senior IT and finance leadership. Skilled at translating financial and technical concepts for diverse audiences
  • Process Optimization & Governance – Track record of implementing automation, standardization, and continuous improvement to elevate financial discipline
  • Independent Leadership – Proven ability to independently lead complex financial processes, exercise sound judgment, and operate effectively in ambiguous, evolving environments
Required Experience:
  • 5–8+ years of professional experience in Finance, FP&A, or IT Finance (preferably supporting Infrastructure within a large, complex corporation)
