Treasury Accountant

Our client, a leading food processing organization, is seeking a Treasury Accountant to join their team. As a Treasury Accountant, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Treasury team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Treasury Accountant (Contract to Hire)

Chicago, Illinois - Hybrid (4 days Onsite/2 days Remote)

$35-$45 per hour (flexible based on experience)

• Monitoring and reconciling balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Completing monthly accounting work in accordance with US GAAP guidelines and performing relevant analysis.
• Conducting annual reviews and revisions of Key Financial Controls (SOX requirements) to enhance internal control effectiveness.
• Collaborating with business partners to provide insights and analysis into financial results.
• Preparing and analyzing financial statements and supporting schedules for quarterly reporting.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of treasury accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and large ERP systems.
• Knowledge of Internal Controls, audit compliance, and financial analysis.
