Senior Financial Accountant

We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join a dynamic, fast‑growing financial services group operating across Australia and New Zealand. This is a high‑impact role where you’ll work closely with senior leadership to deliver both financial and management reporting, drive process improvements, and contribute to strategic initiatives.

In this role, you’ll:

• Prepare monthly management results, board packs, and ad‑hoc reports
• Perform variance analysis and provide meaningful insights to support business decisions
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Maintain strong financial controls and perform balance sheet reconciliations
• Work with auditors to ensure smooth audit and compliance processes
• Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and improve finance processes and systems
• Assist with projects, system upgrades, and offshoring initiatives as needed

• CA or CPA qualified with relevant Bachelors degree
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience coming from financial services industry
• Experienced in improving processes, supporting system transitions, and using finance systems effectively
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills with the ability to work confidently across multiple teams
