The Opportunity

As Lead Underwriter, you will take ownership of complex cyber and digital interruption risks, driving disciplined underwriting decisions aligned to portfolio strategy. You will work closely with senior leadership, analytics and capacity partners to ensure risk selection, pricing and exposure management support sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite complex cyber and technology related risks within defined appetite

• Assess pricing adequacy and structure terms aligned to portfolio strategy

• Contribute to refinement of underwriting guidelines and appetite frameworks

• Analyse portfolio performance and accumulation exposure

• Partner with analytics teams to leverage data insights in risk selection

• Support broker relationships through technical underwriting expertise

• Engage with capacity partners where required on larger or strategic risks

• Maintain strong governance and documentation standards

Profile and Qualifications

• Proven experience underwriting cyber or technology E&O risks

• Background within an MGA or specialty carrier environment

• Strong understanding of digital business interruption exposures

• Analytical mindset with confidence interpreting data driven insights

• Ability to operate within delegated authority frameworks

• Commercial awareness balanced with underwriting discipline

• Comfortable in a high growth, entrepreneurial setting
