The Vice President of FP&A will serve as a strategic finance leader and key partner to the CFO and executive team. This role will lead financial planning, forecasting, performance analytics, and strategic modeling in a high-growth SaaS environment with Private Equity sponsorship and IPO experience.
The ideal candidate combines deep SaaS operating metrics expertise, capital markets readiness, and PE-driven performance rigor. This leader will build scalable processes, drive accountability across the organization, and deliver actionable insights to support value creation and long-term growth.
What you will do:Strategic Financial Leadership
- Lead company-wide annual planning, long-range planning (LRP), and rolling forecasts.
- Partner with the CFO on board materials and other management reporting
- Support IPO readiness, including public-company forecasting standards and external reporting alignment.
- Drive Private Equity value-creation initiatives, including KPI tracking and EBITDA optimization.
- Own SaaS KPI framework including ARR, churn, and pipeline conversion
- Build cohort analyses and customer profitability models.
- Partner with Revenue Operations and Sales Leadership on bookings forecasts and pipeline analytics.
- Support pricing strategy, GTM investment modeling, and capacity planning.
- Serve as strategic finance partner to Sales, Marketing, Product, R&A, Customer Success, and Operations.
- Translate financial data into insights that influence operational decisions.
- Develop financial dashboards and executive reporting packages.
- Drive cross-functional accountability through KPI transparency.
- Build and lead a high-performing FP&A team.
- Implement scalable systems and processes (ERP, planning tools, BI platforms).
- Enhance financial data integrity and automation.
- Establish best practices for forecasting accuracy and reporting cadence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- 10–15+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior FP&A leadership.
- Deep experience in SaaS or recurring revenue business models.
- Demonstrated experience in Private Equity-backed environments.
- Direct involvement in IPO readiness or public company reporting strongly preferred.
- Advanced financial modeling and Excel expertise; experience with tools such as Adaptive, Net Suite or similar.
- Strong executive presence and ability to influence C-level stakeholders.
