Finance & Grants Accountant

Deborah's Place is seeking a Finance & Grants Accountant to support our programs through strong financial management, compliance, and internal controls.

This position is in-person, Monday-Friday.

• Prepare monthly financial statements and manage the general ledger
• Support annual budgets and external audits
• Manage government contracts, vouchering, reconciliation and grant reporting
• Manage audits, funder reporting and compliance
• Strengthen internal controls and perform special projects as assigned

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field;
Master Degree preferred.

Job

Experience:

• 3+ years not-for-profit accounting experience
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as a team
• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
