Business Segment Overview

Position
Purpose:
The Credit Analyst will be responsible for working with the risk team to identify, analyze, and mitigate credit risk for the FCM. The analyst will perform credit reviews, appropriate management of the credit data base, account onboarding, and regular reporting.
Primary Duties:
- Conduct financial statement analysis to determine the viability, stability, and overall financial health of clients
- Review of accounts, annual reviews, temporary extensions, and waivers and amendments. This includes requests for trading limits, credit lines, margin levels and thresholds for futures, and foreign exchange trading.
- Identifying and mitigating key credit issues
- Negotiate risk mitigating instruments, including corporate and personal guarantees
- Liaison with Risk staff for all credit‑related issues
- Liaison with Business units for trading limit and line requests
- Responsible for the management of credit data and reporting
- Onboarding of new clients and processing account applications
- Responsibility for and in conjunction with compliance “Know Your Client” rules and client referential data
- Perform Credit data checks on incoming corporations and individuals
To land this role you will need:
- 1 to 3 years in credit risk management or related risk management
- Strong analytical skills, especially financial statement analysis
- Strong quantitative skills
- Strong Excel and VBA skills
- Strong writing and English skills
- Data entry, manipulation, and presentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and to multitask
- Judgment and discretion in working with highly confidential information is critical.

Education / Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
Working environment:
- 4 days per week onsite, 1 day per week remote
Hiring Salary Range $70,000 - $85,000. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity and alignment with market data.) Subject to business performance and recommendations of management, this role may be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan. This compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
