Finance Systems Manager

Overview

Our client, a fast-growing tech startup in the downtown Chicago area, is hiring a Finance Systems Manager to own and scale their finance technology ecosystem. This person will initially lead a Salesforce ↔ Net Suite integration project (~5 months) and then transition into ongoing ownership of the finance systems stack.

You’ll play a key role in improving financial operations, enabling faster closes, better forecasting, stronger controls, and scalable infrastructure as the company continues to grow.

• Finance Systems Ownership
  • Own administration of Net Suite ERP, Salesforce CRM, and related finance tools
  • Manage workflows, permissions, approvals, and governance
• Implementation & Integration
  • Lead ERP implementations, upgrades, and Salesforce-to-finance integrations
  • Coordinate with external implementation partners and internal stakeholders
• Process Architecture
  • Design and optimize finance workflows (O2C, P2P, R2R)
  • Translate accounting policy into scalable system rules
• Data, Reporting & Automation
  • Improve data accuracy, reporting, and automation across finance systems
  • Support forecasting, KPIs, and financial reporting initiatives
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Rev Ops, IT, and GTM teams
  • Support compliance, audit readiness, documentation, and training

• 6+ years in finance systems, ERP administration, or accounting systems
• Hands-on Net Suite (preferred), Sage Intacct, or MS Dynamics 365
• Salesforce integration experience in a finance environment
• ERP implementation or major system rollout ownership
• Strong understanding of O2C, P2P, R2R finance workflows

• SaaS or tech company background
• FP&A, billing/revenue, or AP automation experience
• ASC 606 or multi-entity/multi-currency exposure
