Job Description: Client has requested a contractor to cover a paternity leave for an 8‑month period starting mid‑September. The role is primarily in NYC with a flexible hybrid schedule.

• Primary coverage of Workday Finance (FINS) modules (not HCM).
• Supporting multiple systems alongside the existing client team.
• Providing continuity during staggered leave coverage.
• Conducting knowledge transfer (KT) sessions before the resource leaves.

• Strong Workday Finance expertise with the ability to adapt quickly.
• Experience across Workday Financial Management, including core functionalities such as Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Procurement, Spend Management, Asset Management, Expenses, Revenue Management, and Analytics & Reporting.
• Ability to manage both strategic support and operational execution.
• Excellent communication and client‑facing skills to represent Grant Thornton while working directly with the end client.
• A “STAR” performer and team player able to step into a high‑visibility role.
• Preferably New York‑based resource who can work a hybrid‑onsite schedule; remote with on‑site travel also acceptable.
