Base pay range$/yr - $/yr
Job Title: Accounting Tax Manager
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Type: Full-Time, Permanent/Direct Hire

Company: Private Equity Firm
Key Responsibilities- Manage and review international, federal, state and local tax filings for multiple private equity funds and related entities
- Oversee preparation of Schedule K-1s, partnership returns and other investor tax reporting deliverables
- Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors to ensure timely and accurate filings
- Monitor tax law changes and assess their impact on fund structures and operations
- Support transaction structuring from a tax perspective, including acquisitions, dispositions, and reorganizations
- Maintain and improve internal tax compliance processes and controls
- Assist with tax planning strategies to optimize fund and investor outcomes
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, if applicable
- Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance
- CPA required
- 5-10 years of relevant tax experience at a public accounting firm or private equity firm
