About the Role
As a Senior Financial Analyst this role partners with the Finance Manager/Director of Finance and Procurement stakeholders to provide analytical support and actionable financial reporting. The analyst supports the procurement function by analyzing, reconciling, and interpreting financial data to drive informed decision making and business performance.
Responsibilities- Prepare accurate monthly financial forecasts to support procurement strategies and business planning.
- Analyze and report on the financial impact of cost optimization initiatives and annual procurement budgets.
- Generate comprehensive financial reports, dashboards, and insights for senior management and key stakeholders.
- Communicate financial results, risks, and trends clearly to financial and non-financial audiences.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and applicable industry regulations; identify and mitigate financial risks related to procurement operations.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency and accuracy within the procurement finance function.
- Perform month‑end close activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statement analysis, and provide analytical support to business partners.
- Prepare ad‑hoc reports and support P&L modeling and cost analysis for new products or initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting.
- 5–7 years of related experience; experience in Procurement and/or Supply Chain Finance preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and analytical concepts.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex functions and pivot tables.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills; ability to translate analytics into meaningful insights and strategies.
- Results‑driven, adaptable, and able to handle ambiguity and change.
Base pay range: $94,000 to $131,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other factors permitted by law.
