📍 West Suburbs of Chicago | Community Bank
A growing community bank is hiring a Trust Officer / Tax Specialist to support its trust and wealth team. This is a full-time, non-sales role focused on fiduciary and trust tax preparation in a stable, team-oriented environment.
Role Highlights- Prepare and review trust, estate, and fiduciary tax returns
- Serve as a technical tax resource to the trust team
- Support tax planning, compliance, and internal operations
- Strong foundation in tax preparation
- Detail-oriented, technically strong, clear communicator
- From CPA firms, community banks, or strong entry-level profiles
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field
- Tax experience required; CPA or CTFA STRONGLY PREFERRED
- 3–10 years of experience; within 100 miles of Northwest CHI
- Stable community bank environment
- Strong mentorship and succession path
- Excellent work-life balance vs. public accounting
