Our client is a middle-market private equity firm focused on partnering with founder-owned and entrepreneur-led businesses across a range of industries. They specialize in control buyouts, management partnerships, and strategic growth investments. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with senior leadership, gain meaningful deal exposure, and contribute to a growing, high-performing investment platform.
Key Responsibilities- Support all aspects of the deal lifecycle, including sourcing, financial modeling, valuation analysis, due diligence, and execution.
- Build and maintain detailed operating, LBO, and valuation models.
- Conduct industry research, competitive analysis, and market mapping to support investment theses.
- Prepare investment committee materials, including presentations, memos, and supporting financial analyses.
- Coordinate with external advisors, management teams, and internal partners throughout the transaction process.
- Assist in portfolio company monitoring, including KPI tracking, performance analysis, and value-creation initiatives.
- Contribute to firm-wide projects, strategic initiatives, and process improvements as needed.
- 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, or related finance roles.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, with the ability to build robust, error-free models from scratch.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities paired with sound business judgment.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience preparing client-ready materials.
- Proven ability to manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and intellectual curiosity.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field required; CFA or progress toward one is a plus.
