THE ROLE
The Financial Reporting Senior is part of the External Reporting team. This role will be responsible for the coordination of financial reporting and support SEC filings in compliance with US GAAP reporting standards.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH- US GAAP Compliance - Continually provide support to the finance team as we transition from IFRS to US GAAP. Lead the development of tools and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including liaising with other corporate functions.
- Process Improvement - Work with stakeholders both within the finance organization and other key areasto improve processes around financial reporting and analysis.
- Standardization - Work with the broader finance team and other support functions to standardize financial reporting processes and procedures across our footprint.
- Financial Accounting - Support the internal and external audit teams' inquiries, collaborating closely with auditors to provide necessary documentation and support during audit processes in accordance with regulatory requirements (SOX controls and US GAAP).
- Financial Compliance - Activities including flux analysis and other items as required.
- Month-End Activities and Reporting - Perform month-end activities supporting monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting requirements.
- System Development - Participate in the development and implementation of financial reporting system sand processes, ensuring they meet the organization’s needs and comply with accounting standards. Systems include SAP ECC, SAC, and Tagetik.
- Adhoc Requirements - Working on special projects, researching and preparing technical accountingmemos on new scenarios, including unusual accounting transactions/treatment.

Education: Bachelor's degree
Field of Study Preferred: Finance, Accounting, or Business
Required
Work Experience:
5+ years of professional experience required. Big 4/Large Audit manufacturing company experience preferred.
Required Training/
Certifications:
CPA preferred.

Advanced Microsoft Suite
Travel Requirements: 5%
Additional Requirements:
- Strong US GAAP knowledge and reporting experience
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test.
