Financial Institutions & Consumer Financial Services Associate

An AmLaw-recognized law firm is seeking a junior-level associate to join its Financial Institutions and Consumer Financial Services practices in Chicago.

This role is ideal for an associate early in their career who is interested in regulatory, compliance, and litigation matters affecting banks, lenders, and other financial services institutions, and who is looking to build a strong foundation within a nationally respected practice.

The associate will work with partners and senior attorneys on a range of matters involving consumer financial regulations, enforcement actions, and compliance issues impacting financial institutions. The practice offers hands-on experience, strong training, and early exposure to substantive work in a highly regulated space.

• 1–3 years of experience in a law firm setting
• Interest in financial institutions, consumer finance, or regulatory matters
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple assignments
• Admitted in Illinois or eligible to waive in

• Well-established Financial Institutions and Consumer Financial Services practices
• Structured training and mentorship for junior associates
• Exposure to nationally significant regulatory and compliance matters
