Debt Finance Associate

Chicago | Hybrid

An AmLaw-recognized law firm is seeking an associate to join its Debt Finance practice in Chicago.

This role is well-suited for an associate with experience representing lenders, borrowers, and/or private equity sponsors in debt financing transactions who is looking to build depth within a sophisticated, deal-driven finance practice.

The associate will work closely with partners and senior attorneys on a range of debt finance matters, including secured lending transactions and related financings. The practice offers meaningful responsibility, hands-on involvement in transactions from start to finish, and exposure to complex financing structures.

• 1–5 years of experience in debt finance transactions
• Experience representing lenders, borrowers, and/or private equity sponsors
• Working knowledge of secured lending transactions
• Experience assisting with transaction closings
• Strong drafting, organizational, and analytical skills
• Admitted in Illinois or eligible to waive in
