Bookkeeper

Description We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for someone with strong financial management skills to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Quick Books Online and demonstrate proficiency in managing high-volume tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage daily bookkeeping tasks, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up to date.

- Utilize Quick Books Online to maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions align with financial statements.

- Handle a high volume of financial data and transactions with precision and attention to detail.

- Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and streamline financial workflows.

- Prepare and maintain detailed financial reports to support decision-making processes.

- Monitor and track incoming payments, ensuring timely follow-ups when necessary.

- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support organizational goals.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

- Provide support during audits and other financial reviews. Requirements - Proven experience in bookkeeping, preferably in high-volume settings.

- Proficiency in Quick Books Online is essential.

- Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

- Expertise in performing accurate bank reconciliations.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.
